The effects of X-Ray Spray. What if the Batmobile fell victim to one of Batman’s wild super technologies… and in doing so it became transparent. A wild idea for a diehard Batman fan this work was created for. The Batmobile (1966) was based on a retired Lincoln Futura concept car, so not much is known of it’s original underpinnings. This lack of documentation made an accurate assumption of the chassis an interesting challenge. To solve for this, I composited together references from a thurnderbird to get as close as my mind would stretch. The investment in research makes this more powerful for the collector (who is a stickler for details).
